Problem Solving, Reasoning and Numeracy

Here children learn about counting, working with numbers, patterns, shapes, space and measures through songs, games, stories and imaginative play. They develop their understanding in a range of contexts in which they can explore, enjoy, learn, practise and talk about their increasing understanding. They are provided with opportunities to practise and extend these skills, gaining confidence and competence in their use.
