Geography

Welcome to the Pre-Prep Geography page. In Years 1 and 2, Geography is taught in half termly blocks; every other term. The children receive an hour lesson each week. These lessons follow the National Curriculum and QCA guidelines. The children develop their knowledge and understanding of the world around us through learning about their own locality and comparing it with other parts of the UK and abroad. They are encouraged to ask questions and solve problems and start to become aware of environmental, social and cultural differences and issues.
