Year 7 2024 Admissions
We appreciate that with the large number of applications to the school there will be many children who are disappointed not to have been allocated a place.
1613 families listed Liverpool College as one of their preferences and there are 171 places.
We have applied the Admission Policy which states clearly how applications are dealt with. Please see the Year 7 2024 Admission Information here for a reminder of how places are allocated.

Parents have the right to appeal against an admission authority's decision refusing their child admission to a school under section 94(I)(b) and (2) of the 1998 Act. If you wish to submit an appeal you should contact Sally Loveridge (contact details above) to request a form. You should submit this form by clearly setting out the reasons for your appeal. You may include any letters, correspondence, written reports or documents that support your case.
Prior to your appeal hearing you will receive a written statement from Liverpool College advising you how the admissions policy was applied in your case, and a general statement explaining the implications for the school of admitting pupils over roll. YEAR 7 2024 ADMISSION APPEAL TIMETABLE:
- Friday 1st March 2024 - parents will hear from their local authority regarding the school allocated to their child.
- Tuesday 2nd April - deadline for submitting your appeal to Liverpool College.
- Week commencing 17th June 2024 if the provisional date for appeal hearings.
Year 7 2025 Admissions
We will hold an Open Event in the Autumn Term - date to be confirmed. Details of open events will be published here shortly.
Admissions information for Year 7 2025 will be published here in September 2024.
Applications cannot be made until September 2024. Applications will be made through the local authority and they will issue guidance to primary schools at the end of this school year.
