We have many well-qualified and skilled sixth form instructors who pass on the training they have developed to the younger cadets as well as myself who oversees the training programme.

The Next Generation' Cadets at Liverpool College enjoy flying, gliding, going on camps, taking part in all kinds of action, adventure and sports. It's great fun too, with the opportunity to enjoy an enviable social life and make many new friends

The younger cadets are essentially preparing to become responsible leaders whilst at the same time achieving valuable skills and qualifications they will find very useful in the outside world. As they develop as cadets and good citizens and take advantage of the opportunities available, they become more confident and assured in themselves.

We have three full time members of the RAF who assist in the development of the cadets and regularly visit the school to check the progress we make. The full time team include the Regional Test NCO, the National Commanding Officer and the Commandant of the Royal Air Force Cadets.

Where else could you learn to fly aerobatics, visit Royal Air Force Stations, tour foreign countries, play sports from local to International level, learn the skills to lead expeditions, become a target shooting marksman, gain your Duke of Edinburgh's Awards, canoe through white water, assist your community, join a band, learn aviation subjects, go caving, parachute, climb, sail, ski...? These and much more are readily available to you as a member of the Air Cadet Organization, whether you are a cadet or staff member.
