Cruyff Finals at Anfield

Both Year 7 boys and Girls represented Liverpool College and Everton Football Club today in the Cruyff Finals at Anfield. There were many teams from all over the UK, representing Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool and Aberdeen. A fantastic effort from both teams with the boys ending up as runners up to Arsenal. The girls after beating Aberdeen dominated many matches without scoring until the Final match where they beat Arsenal 1-0.

All pupils represented the College wonderfully, their behaviour and manners were superb throughout the tournament.

Many thanks to Adam a former school’s direct trainee and Liverpool College parents for their support and giving up their time. If it wasn’t for their help in supporting the pupils, today would never have happened.  Justin Cook
