Mash Up at the Unity Theatre

On Thursday 14 February, a small group of Year 9 Expressive Arts pupils had the pleasure of watching a performance known as “Mash Up” at the Unity Theatre in town. Involved in the performance were: singers, puppetry and mime, beat boxers, and spoken word artists. Also at the end of the night there was an open mic which was open to anyone in the audience and one of our own pupils, Lucy C, sang a brilliant cover of Shallow from A Star is Born. 

The night was fabulous, and gave the pupils an insight to different creative ways of performing. Thank you very much to Miss McWatt, Mrs Hall and Mr Bishop for organising it!
