Pre-Prep

The Pre-Prep accepts pupils into the Nursery from three years old but pupils may also join the Reception forms from other Nurseries at four years. Children generally transfer at seven, into the Preparatory School and at eleven into the Upper School where they may stay until eighteen in accordance with our Admissions Policy. Thus ensuring continuity of their education.

The aim of the school is to provide a happy, secure environment where the children feel valued as individuals. Their academic, social, emotional, creative and physical needs are nurtured from the beginning. An excellent pupil:staff ratio ensures plenty of individual attention and a caring atmosphere prevails. High standards of behaviour are expected and children are helped to achieve these. Parental involvement is encouraged and meetings are held and reports issued on a regular basis. All forms perform a Christmas play to which parents and carers are invited and from Reception onwards, class assemblies are held for parents. Our College chapel is the venue for the Harvest celebration. Children take an active part in all of these events and parents are welcome to attend. Children bring home a weekly newsletter with, for instance, accounts of events and names of those who have won awards.
