From September 2008 Liverpool College will be offering students on Merseyside the opportunity to receive means-tested Bursaries towards their Sixth Form courses.
These will come from an endowment fund being set up by the
Foundation with donations from its benefactors. In order to leave a
legacy for future generations it is important to build up a
substantial fund and everyone can contribute by giving a donation
regularly or just a lump sum. The prospective students will need to
apply to the Principal by January 2008 for consideration of their
academic, sporting, musical or drama excellence in order to meet
our entrance criteria. However, not every student would benefit
from 100% remission of fees as this might vary from year to year
depending on parental income. Liverpool College aims to prepare our
young people to take their place in a demanding, competitive and
global society. It has a growing reputation for producing students
with the edge over others that allows them to take up their first
choice of career and guarantees that a Liverpool College education
is an education for life.
