A Fantastic Weekend of Girls House Hockey

Last Saturday, a lovely sunny morning saw all the Chapter 7 girls participate in a House Hockey Competition on the Astro Turf. The girls quickly got involved in the action of the event with some quick flowing moves with the stick and ball and the goals flying into the net. It was fantastic to see the enthusiasm of the girls with many fist pumps after each goal and celebratory dances by the winning teams after every match. Although Selwyn's House were the eventual winners, it was a day to promote and celebrate House Sport Competitions, girls school sport, and the hockey in the City.
