Boarding Students Explore Liverpool on the Hop-On Hop-Off Bus
Last weekend, our boarding community enjoyed an exciting day out discovering the sights and sounds of Liverpool aboard the famous Hop-On Hop-Off city bus.
For many of our students, this was their first time experiencing the city as tourists, and the open-top bus offered the perfect way to take it all in. From the historic docks to the vibrant streets, the route gave everyone a real sense of Liverpool’s unique character.
Highlights of the tour included seeing the magnificent Liver Building, exploring the Royal Albert Dock, and stopping to admire the Liverpool Cathedral. Students also enjoyed spotting landmarks connected to the city’s rich maritime history and its world-famous musical heritage. The friendly guides on board shared fascinating facts and fun stories, which sparked plenty of conversation and laughter.
The trip was not only a chance to learn more about the city many now call home, but also a wonderful opportunity for boarders to relax together outside of school, strengthen friendships, and make lasting memories.
Staff said, “It was great seeing all the places people talk about, it made us proud to live and work here.”
We are already looking forward to our next boarding adventure!
