Medical Interview Workshop

Hearing that our 6th form students have received notification of interviews for university is one of the best joys of teaching. Making sure they are as prepared as possible for these interviews then becomes our challenge. Utilising the expertise of professionals is essential. We were delighted this week to welcome John O'Malley to help prepare our medical students for their upcoming medical interviews. With a background as a GP and gastroenterologist, John has spent many years conducting interviews for medical students as Medical director in Manchester. Growing up in Toxteth, he is a huge advocate of encouraging people from all walks of life to train in medical fields. John spent an hour after school preparing students for possible questions that commonly appear in medical interviews, including questions based on the four pillars of ethics.
